TinglyTube Changelog | November 2020

Hey there, and welcome to our November 2020 Changelog!

We publish one of these notices/changelogs monthly so you know what has changed on TinglyTube over the last month, from features getting added to bugs being fixed, we'll list it all! But if you want to see these updates in realtime, you can check our profile wall as we sometimes post similar updates there, or check our Statuspage to see our current server status and any ongoing/past incidents, you can also follow our Twitter if you want, we're pretty active on there.

And now presenting our November 2020 Changelog!

  • Emojis are now supported in most areas of the site, such as video titles, descriptions, tags, and comments, as well as blogs, blog titles, blog comments, and last but not least, private messages and search queries.
  • Links in video descriptions, comments (video, blog, and wall), private messages, the website field in user profiles now hyperlink! (are clickable).
  • Removed the Yandex.Translate widget from the 'Langage Selection' menu due to low usage and to save loading time. For more information on why we removed the Yandex.Translate widget, refer to this help article.
  • Changed the color of the text in private messages for improved readability, especially on screens with high-brightness levels.
  • Private videos no longer show on the homepage, but still currently show in site (not search engine) results.
  • The Standards on the Community Standards page are now organized into 'cards' for a much neater look and easier readability instead of just plain bullet points.
  • The last login date now shows a tooltip that explains that it may not be completely accurate (This is because it only shows the last time a user actually logged in after being logged out).
but before we officially end this month's changelog, we'd like to take a moment and say thank you to the two TinglyTubers who've donated a total of $130.03 to us via our donation page, your donations are greatly appreciated and will help us continue to grow and expand!

Well, that's about everything we did in October 2020, so thanks for reading, and we hope to add many more features in the future to make your experience better! If you have any feedback, feature requests, or found a bug, don't hesitate to let us know via our Support/Feedback form.
