Hello everyone and welcome back to another ASMR video!

For my first ASMR video of 2021, I carve (aka totally destroy) three bars of Ivory soap using a variety of carving tools to hopefully make some nice and relaxing sounds, I also wore some cut ‘resistant’ gloves for added protection in case the carving tools slipped off of the soap (in which I had a few close calls, but I felt safe wearing them so I wasn’t as worried about cutting myself), the gloves also seemed to add some nice and relaxing sounds, but they did limit the dexterity of my fingers, so I wasn’t able to really carve anything special.

As I said at the beginning of the video, this is technically a Part 2 since I also made a soap carving video in February of 2018, but I no longer seem to have it backed up anywhere, but if you have a copy of it or another one of my videos, feel free to upload it to Google Drive, copy the share link, and send it to me via email at jj15asmr@asmrtistunited.com, leave the link in the comments, or PM/DM it to me on TinglyTube, Twitter, Instagram, etc. I’d really appreciate it!

But I think the video turned out pretty well, but If I were to make a Part 3 to it I’d definitely lower the microphone down closer (I had it on a boom stand a foot or so above the table) to where I’m carving the soap, for much more audible sounds, as well as put some padding under the tablecloth so it’s not just the hard plastic of the table so there are less loud noises from me setting/picking up the carving tools and the soap carvings hitting the table.
